I like her and I'm kind of a Dead Sara fan (her band)

But replacing a legendary, dead singer and singing his old songs is always so weird, and also a really hard and unrewarding task for the new singer imo. Doubt she's comfortable doing his songs.

They should just move on and only play the new stuff live.

All you need to know is that she is a Scientologist who defended Danny Masterson.

And this shell.of a band decided to replace Chester, himself a victim of sexual abuse, with.......................

This.

Yeah. It’s not good. But nobody can replace Chester regardless of who it is, and it will be always be weird. I don’t particularly like her but she can sing the songs rather well.

And I'm not a fan of any of their stuff after the first 2 albums, which I thought were terrific.

However.

Their fans saw Chester as someone they could relate to. He was open and honest about all his troubles, and his style of singing projected that pain.

This is just wrong in my opinion. This isn't the same as an Adam Lambert trying to replace a Freddie Mercury for instance.

Freddie was about grandeur, fun and pomp and circumstance.

Chester was about pain. Emotional and physical. That hits differently.
