@Ocelot, the 2nd song that starts after 2 mins Hallelujah is super nice :heart: Even if I dont understand anything lol.

Didn't think you'd know Takt, he's pretty underground & unknown even in Germany :D
But yeah, his flow is great usually and on this one as well, lyrically he's nothing special but not too bad either I guess. He's made a name for himself as a pretty competent battle rapper as well iirc.

Btw if we're talking about german rap I need to bring in my homeboy Samy, shame that he has fallen off that much the past two albums though.

Dont really know him persé, just the topic of german rap came up elsewhere and someone posted him, only took notice of that 2nd part in most songs the german based guys posted. German rap is something I cant take seriously yet sound or vibe wise :pp

Except this kurdish german rapper they posted, seems like quite the character style wise :D

Haha never heard of this guy before, he isn't that out of line though compared with his collegues :D

And yeah, German rap sucks if you're only concerned with its sound. I mean the lyrics of most of the songs are horrible as well, but there is a small faction with some great ones now, and especially in the late 90es/early 2000es when guys like Freundeskreis, Samy Deluxe or Curse teared it up.

....it isn't that great if you don't know the language though I guess :p

Gotcha, not that I tried it out much (randomly listened to kollegah, marteria, bushido etc), but what I been exposed to hasnt caught on, unlike german reggae which is in general good frigging vibes.

Or their Dancehall/reggae/Hiphop hybrid by oldtimers like Seeed lol

I'll be in Köln for Summerjam in July, cant see them on the big festival lineup, not as popular as they used to be, hope they'll get added amongst the domestic talents (big influence on Reggae scene in Europe). But until then, I'll be content with seeing Damian Marley live for the first time :weee:

@Osman

I just discovered that song yesterday via my homie, it's sooo smooth! And you absolutely right about the Mayer comparisons haha.

And dude, Summerjam is gonna be lit!!! It's gonna be awesome when it does 'Road To Zion'.

I love this I-Octane song, downloaded already!!
