Lovely tune, but the album it's from is 2 years old (dude hit it big in Europe, don't need hyping) , don't listen to it anymore. Tous les memes was my fav in it. Besides the overplayed papaoutai.
I just heard a bit of the song in a commercial. When I looked for the song and found out it was Stromae. I only knew the name because you once talked about him here and I listened a bit to him. I totally forgot abut him. This song is amazing - I can't stop listening to it.

Yeah it's amazing. But I can't listen to it anymore. We killed his album at work for far too long lol (70 procent of the time repeating formidable, chicks love it), and most of my friends like him.

He is gonna perform in a festival in Germany I'm going to I think, will be curious to see how a unique dude like him is in a live show.

It's totally something else, but if you like him try out the Weeknd's music, some compelling stuff there to that hits similar nerve.

I don't know if I like this kind of music, but this track is quality. I'm actually sad I didn't listen to it before now. I'm on the verge of bich listening his music, but I the problem is the language. The last year I've been binge listening Mark Kozelek @PostIronic

It's not same kind of music. The Weeknd is darker druggy type of moody rnb, in certain mind state it can hit a nerve, like formidable does.

Stromae is a mix of genres I rarely listen to, euro dance (lol), house and pop synth-ish electro. Just try more of stuff from an artist if first impression is good.

Language barrier is annoying, but I stopped caring about that since I can't change it. Listen to plenty of French music (mainly hiphop / carribean) ,better just feel it if you can't understand it.

I know the two bands he was part of... Red House Painters and Sun Kil Moon. I like both these bands. I don't know any of his solo stuff though. Is it good then?

He's kinda weird, dances in the strangest ways all the time lol.

The language barrier sucked a bit where I saw him. I've always found that artists speaking the local language can produce a lot more atmosphere, but it was still pretty damn great.

That's why I like Soprano so much, after a couple of listenings I can understand most of what he says.

I mean word plays and stuff like that is still lost on me, but I get at least the gist of it rather easily.

New Kendrick track leaked today:
http://cantstophiphop.com/kendrick-lamar-king-kunta-full/

This album is gonna be extremely interesting. All three songs we've heard so far, Untitled, I, The Blacker The Berry and now this sound very different from wach other, and partly also from Kendrick's previous style. He's on his way to become one of the most versatile Hip-Hop artists imo.
Like his lyrics but I really can't stand the sound of his voice
