Bruh trust me I've heard em all. Been playing this album non-stop since it leaked, just figuring out all these concepts. :D Crazy shit, 3-4 narratives at once and if you play the album backwards it tells the story of The Cool's resurrection in a video game setting (Mural is the final boss, in which he finally "defeats samsara and achieves nirvana and brilliance").
Is Tetsuo & Youth good? Didn't really like most of Lupe's work after Food & Liquor.

Wut? I have to try that  But first need to relisten to The cool though, that was a high concept album theme wise and lyrical storytelling.

Its very good, try it, only thing I didnt like he needs to work with better producers who vary different sounds/styles in his work.

Its not that its bad production, but what type of it is, or unvaried it is. Its good for the type of style he has, but its too same style of production, to the point it just becomes anonymous and blends in, Lupe as a rapper is extremely visceral and can do diffferent type of songs and flows. For example the cool itself as an album had songs like little weapon and put you on game and so on, that sounded and felt different from the more slow burner ones, gave the album heart beat sound ones, different tempo's. Experimented with different types of beats and sounds, while Tetsuo youth while excellent, has too many who hold the same level of sound. Except chopper, deliver etc that is. For example he should have added next to it song to the album, just for some different type of sound.

Yeah I didnt really consider the overall narrative of it all to fit in with the production, so you prolly right, but its first and foremost music, so it would be nice if it was more interesting in that way too besides the lyrical storytelling.

Btw, I forget sometimes you swedish too, what do you think of Nääk? Dude is so chill, especially every song him and Nimo do with Kaliffa (chill ass chorus voice as fvck):

More songs then projects really, but mannen utan mask album from few years ago is his best. Him and Nimo are like unseperable, do everything together ala Redman and Method man kinda bro love lol.

Kaliffa (from fusion group called Hoffmaestro) adds his reggae chill vibes to some of their work (and to lots of other rappers like Ken etc), pretty dope voice. Recently gotten into them a little more, sometimes in mood for local talent and friend who knows them raves about them.

This one with just Kaliffa, summer tune hehe, but ofcourse the other two in the video :p

He excells at that, was talking about different type of sound and tempo to fresh things up a little, as it was with the Cool. I say this because I listened this album alot past days and it's the only critique I have.
