I semi-agree. I used to hate him with a passion, but I do think he has made a few decent songs. He tends to try too hard with his guitar playing especially when he's playing with other guitarist live, and if he's not doing that he's doing the opposite and making mindboggingly boring lounge songs. However, songs like No Such Things and Gravity are pretty great imo.
