Yes.

Contact is fucked up, it sounds like an attempt at something like Around The World/Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger from Alive 2007, like a 'big' track if you know what I mean, except it's lame.
Contact really needed a climax it just builds and builds to nothing. Beyond and Within are really crap songs i cant see them ever growing on me. Touch isn't much good either but it might grow on me. Favourites are Giorgio by Moroder, Instant Crush and Give Life Back to Music.

Yeah, wonderful track. Distortion heaven, super cool riffs, great lyrics and vocal, good basslines. I also love the thump in that kickdrum

Good melodies as well, just a sublime track.

Distortion heaven :D . Does he have some equally cool stuff or? Haven't really been going through his solo material.

Guitar tone reminded me of this for some reason

You'll probably hate it because it's heavily inspired by the 70's, but try it out :p

I'm mostly familiar with the Smashing Pumpkins stuff, which I consider so-so. He's a brilliant songwriter, though, no doubt about it. I'd love for him to make more tracks like the Mina Loy-one.

Man, I don't hate the 70s sound :D

Yeah there are some similarities in tone there, but the Mina Loy tone is brighter. Was probably filtered off a great deal to make it sit right in the track. A lot more low-end to the BMRC guitar tone.

Cool track, btw

That last one there I really liked

One of my favourite bands ever, Nine Inch Nails, are heavily influenced by this era. When I said what I said about the 70s, it had more to do with mixing philosophies really. I'm not gonna slate an entire decade of music, you'll never see me become that retarded :D

You're talking to someone who sometimes listens to Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina while taking a shower, and who can also enjoy classic rock, rap, metal, folk music, synth pop, all forms of industrial, EBM, you name it.

The only form of music I could never seem to stomache is R'n'B-music. And some techno/house-music. With only a couple of exceptions, I constantly find myself asking the question: "Do these people even have a soul?"

Way to not come off pretentious :lol2: I'm literally laughing my ass off over here.

And I agree about the soul part, I don't think ID has it either.
