alright, we'll start at their popular peak and work our way into their really meaty stuff.

Download/buy The Black Album, proceed to Load & Reload. After this you go And Justice For All (my favorite album) then Master of Puppets then Ride The Lightning and then you can chose on of Death Magnetic or Kill Em All.

The Black Album is where you start though, massive album.

Opening track:

second track:

edit: Oh and, if you're downloading a rip make sure you get a proper rip - a big part of this album is the insane production
Thanks a lot man! I'll check out The Black Album later today or tomorrow. :)

Side note: Jay-Z's Black Album is great so this better live up to the name. :D

Ah a new Metallica fan :touched:

Yes I agree start with Black Album. Then Master of Puppets and Ride The Lighting. Then ...And Justice For All (My favourite) haha I just noticed Nzoric said the same thing about AJFA. The rest you will discover yourself :p And don't forget to listen to the whole of Garage, Inc.! (covers album) Some of their best stuff they've recorded on there.

and yeah don't go for shitty 128kbps or 256kbps. You're only fucking yourself. Get at least 320kbps MP3 or even better FLAC or WAV. Vinyl has the best sound quality by far though.

Once you get the Metallica bug it doesn't go away for like 2 years :p. Be warned. I think at one point a few years ago literally all I listened to for months was Metallica.

Be sure to write what you think of it. I haven't listened to Tallica in a year or so, got really fed up with their music after listening to Metallica and only Metallica for 7 months straight.

    Great song.

Just listened through The Black Album, it was okay I guess. :boh:

SIKE!! :D Nah, it was awesome. The production is crazy. So many great songs too, The Unforgiven and Nothing Else Matters are beautiful. Wherever I May Roam is a banger. Only on first listen though, will re-listen a couple of times later.
