 Love the rolling bassline.

Btw Massive Attack took it from Billy Cobham's "Stratus", check out the original http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7y90l_billy-cobhamstratus_music
Wow, I never knew that. That's pretty cool.

By the way, I once read a book by Malcolm Gladwell that had an entire section about musicians copying each other's music. Listen to Shaggy's "Angel" and Steve Miller Band's "The Joker", and pay attention to the similarity in base lines. Here are others I remember.
Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" and Muddy Waters' "You Need Love"

The next one was the most surprising for me.
Nirvana's 'Smells Like Teen Spirit" compared to Boston's 'More Than a Feeling'.

Also, I recently heard Jose Gonzales' version of Teardrop, but I'm guessing this time; Gonzales is copying Massive attack rather than the other way around.

Yeah a lot of that goes around i guess. I recently watched a The Doors documentary where they said how they took different influences or straight up "stole" from other musicians. Well, at least they're being honest about it.

Heres an excerpt from it
