Both are awesome, man.

Here's how I would rank the top 5 tracks in Ursa Major.

1.Bonfire
2.Sharp Knife
3.About to Break
4.Water Landing
5.Dao of St.Paul

There were two songs I didn't like very much "One in Ten" and "Don't believe a word". I felt the latter could have been better. But overall, I think it's a pretty decent album.
You mentioned the good tracks. Stuff like Can You Take Me I don't like either.

Andy, what is the best rap music out there in your opinion?

Nas - Nothing Lasts Forever
The stuff that isn't referred to as "rap". :D

Old school stuff, generally. Before the turn of the century. Nas, Gang Starr, KRS-One, Rakim, Big L, older OutKast, et cetera.

The only "newer" stuff I can stand consists of Little Brother, Cormega, and Immortal Technique. Those guys at least have some lyrics going. The rest of the stuff out now, such as Lil Wayne and Akon, is just noise pollution.

Thanks.

I'll give 'em a listen.

I'm surprised you didn't include any N.W.A, Tupac, Biggie, Dre after NWA, and Big Punisher.

You're from Detroit, right? But you don't seem to like Eminem too much do you?

I don't mind Em. His older stuff is great and I've got respect for him, but he's not as good as the others I mentioned. I also listen to Obie Trice and Slum Village, more folks from the 313.

I'm not a big fan of Tupac. He had good stuff, but I think he's been overrated. He's not the best in history and I believe Biggie was better than him as well.

Big Pun was solid, too. But if you like Big Pun, you really need to listen to Big L stuff. He's like BP on steroids and more intelligent with the rhymes.

Wow, I'll make sure to give him a listen den.

I think You're right about Em. Except 'recovery' I thought was pretty impressive. Maybe even as good as his early shit. Well, not really, but still pretty good.

"If the L has the AIDS then every cutie in the city got it."

That's so great.
Clever
