Some friends and I are trying to throw an Irish themed party and you seem to have good taste in music.

Could you make any recommendations about good Irish drinking music? I've already torrented Flogging Mollys and Dropkick Murphys but I'm looking for something that sounds less punk and a little bit slower paced.

It can be a bit gimmicky, something that appeals to Americans who don't know this type of music at all.
il try my best

I wasn't 100% sure what you were looking for but here are a fews songs that should get you started, if you like the sound of the bands i've mentioned then stick with them because they all have many other good songs.

Thin Lizzy- Whiskey In The Jar
The Pogues - dirty old town
The Dubliners- Seven Drunken Nights
The Dubliners- Black Velvet Band
The Pogues - Leaving of Liverpool
The Dubliners-Rocky Road to Dublin
Wolfe tones- Celtic Symphony
The Fields Of Athenry
The Saw Doctors- I Useta Lover
The Saw Doctors- The Green and Red of Mayo
The hills of Donegal
The Cranberries- Zombie
