My favourite Gibbs album to be honest, no a huge fan on most of his other record's production.

I love this tho:

I mean it's a mixtape not an album, but still

Yeah GangstaGibbs is the king of the mixtapes, both miseducation of Freddie Gibbs and midwestgangstaboxframecadillacmuzik mixtapes are genuine unsong rap classics for me. Tho his best work is pinata for me, just too clean and crisp, not as hungry rapper as his mixtapes, but both sound/production and his storytelling on its highest in pinata.

Yeah thats dope, its unusual for Joey to do a tune with a chiraq drill rapper like Lil Herb (improving when changing name to G Herbo lol) but they both kilt it together with the production, Joeys is really adept at changing his flow, he needs to use this more tho instead of just reminiscing of the 90s too often.

Its one thing to be nostalgic or pay homage to the 90s, but I dont want it to be his identity as a rapper, which it was in his teenage years. Pay respects, but evolve and show your skillset as a rapper in your own. Discover what works for you and what you want to do with your craft. I love 90s Hiphop, but I dont want the current generation to mimic them. Especially Joey who is so supremely talented, and needs to hone that instead of being stuck on 90s homage trips at times (I mean earlier days, not so much now).
