My goodness, you are not...
Yes, I have listened to Let There Be Rock. Yes, I know who Bon Scott is. Look, AC/DC is the band I have listened most to in my life since I used to be a very big fanboy when I was younger. I have only talked about AC/DC like three times in here, and it's pretty random if it's about Brian Johnson or Bon Scott, but I usually don't post the biggest hits that everyone knows.
I mentioned that For Those About To Rock is their grandest sound ever, but you decided to completely ignore what I write and made some random namedropping instead. No, Back in Black's sound isn't grander than For Those About To Rock, and no, Let There Be Rock isn't either. Let There Be Rock is raw, yes, but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about it sounding grand, majestic or whatever you want to call it.
If you were talking about Let There Be Rock compared to Fly On The Wall, then I still don't agree. Both are raw, but it's different kinds of rawness. Let There Be Rock is well-produced, and has a great rawness to it. Fly On The Wall, on the other hand, is all over the place, and it seems like they tried to see how much they could turn up the instruments without destroying the recorder. Add to that, it sounds like they forgot the mixing process. Fly On The Wall is raw to the degree that it's almost unlistenable.
