It's definitely their best, but James has sounded good in other albums too.

That's a filthy lie. He doesn't even sound good on Scenes, the rest of the band are just so good that you sort of forget his whailing.

Objectively he might be an ok singer, but personally I can't stomach him. Yuck.

They're one of the bands that helped define the Progressive Metal genre. Every musician in the band(except their vocalist) is a master at what they do. A MUST listen. Check out their albums 'Images & Words', 'Awake' and 'Scenes From A Memory'.

He's nothing spectacular, but you know how Nikola likes to exaggerate.

The thing about DT, like any other prog metal band, is that their music is SO much more than the vocals. To not listen to them because of their vocalist is sheer stupidity.
