I very much like Metallica. Local boys. I bought Kill 'Em All on cassette the year it came out (which should date me.)

And one of my closet tolerances is that Avril is a lot better than much of the crap being pushed by teens these days.

But then again I also like the cheesy Brazilian funk Metallica send-up by Bonde do Rolê, called "Bondallica":
