Free Bird - Lynyrd Skynyrd. The tribute last night at the Grammy's was horrible. Anyone but a girl should have sung Free Bird, and they also should've done Tuesday's Gone by Lynyrd Skynyrd as well.

It was a Southern Rock tribute. The actual band was playing, but they had different singers (whole bunch of people who I could care less about, and I think Tim McGraw). They played other stuff too, but I wasn't really paying attention because I was doing chemistry. Meh.

skynyrd have a new singer though. A relative of the original singer. Sounded just like him and did their last album. Why didnt he just sing?

That's right! I have no idea why they wouldn't have just used him. Probably because he isn't popular and "big" in the eyes of the so-called "music" fans who watch and attend. I would imagine they use somewhat popular singers to attract viewers.
