That's because Maynard James Keenan is the lead singer of both groups. Tool is more abstract, while A Perfect Circle is a little more theatric in its musical approach.


I prefer Tool.

    :eek: i never noticed!! i havent heard alot of tools music ive got only one of their albums and sober so fr is the best song i heard from tool

    Well they're similar yet different, no? I've always thought that APC was a bit more 'sentimental' and in that sense I prefer them more, but Tool is also not so hard but, I don't know, they're just haunting, which is good too.

    And yes, I'd pick Chevelle over Trapt too.
