Well that is because you don't know anything.

honestly , the only rap music i ever listened to is tupac and biggie , but they are way behind us . "rap" music in general is shit . i don't think it should go under the "music" category" , i think it should go under the " i hate my life so im going to swear to my mom and everything else " category .

Listen to Gang Starr and EPMD and you will think Tupac Amaru Shakur was a joker.
i will , but all in all i will never be a rap fan . i prefer soul or jazz from rap , they aren't my favourite types of music , but at least they are kinds of music that usually carry much more meaning than some guy rapping about how he got tipsy in a club .

:agree: that is the realest thing i've ever heard...

... and that i've heard from you bro :pint::pint::pint:

what i like about tupac is that he talks about "respecting the black woman" and all that shit but then he goes to jail for raping some girl. Hmmm… :disagree::tdown::tdown::tdown:

now thats why he deserved to be shot cuz anyone that listens to him is as fake of a gangsta as he was. Gay ass art school students, studio gangstas and posers alike.

Word, I feel that....

If you really like jazz and soul, you should look up "Pharoahe Monch."

His dad was a professional jazz musician, so he really influenced his rap.....

You can hear my favorite song on YouTube by searching:

"When The Gun Draws"

That song has more meaning than any other rap song I know.

That's just mainstream rap artists like Eminem and 50 cent who use lame gimmicks all the time. But there is some good rap/hip hop out there with enjoyable lyrics, just not the stuff you see on tv.

Melodically and harmonically, there isn't much going on in rap/hip hop music. But that doesn't matter because it's all about the rhytm, the groove. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't call hip hop inferior to other styles of popular music, although I agree that the stuff you see on MTV is crap.

David Bowie - Fame

@ßömßäяdîëя: I read somewhere the other day that German tv has finally stopped making those Schlager shows. About time, don't you think? :D
