i dont see how they can make stands closer to the pitch and still keep the outside 'look' of the stadium!

all the fans would be where the red tracks are right now.
....

i still can't stand the fact that the seating capacity isn't even as high as EPL teams like : (Middlesbrough, Derby, Sheffield Wednesday, Sunderland)

the red tracks are being removed.

maybe...but when the big matches comes,,like the one against madrid..........our income in money will be so so low..
No, Moggi actually said the income would be twice as big, as they are building shops, multiplex theatres, restaurants... around the stadium :thumb:

Less seats doesn't mean less spectators. Perhaps we could have a large number of standing supporters (It's not like any true fan sits down during the matches anyway!)

I dont think thats possible. By UEFA regulations you have to have seats for all the spectators for CL matches. (I think)

yes, zizou thats true, but to be honest, i dont like the idea of the capacity being reduced to less than half. Theyre looking at a capacity of 30 000 ppl Much like Highbury. I do know that turin is a very commercial city and very business like. Not many ppl fill the delle alpi and its hardly ever a full house, but i think its a very good idea to have a new design and although it will be a very neat looking stadium etc, i still think it shud be built more like Old Trafford. That way we have a larger seating capacity. Which would do the team a whole lot of good.

I do think it's like Old Trafford in the sense that if they see that there is a need for more places, they just keep adding tiers. I'm sure they know what they're doing ;)
