Yes Wes doesn't well for the most part when only two mids. Still think RWB is the best position to get the most out of his ability. As long as he still gives 110% hustle out there.
Yes, as CM he still not the best passer. Several times have misplaced passes against Wydad. He provide hustle and run but we shouldnt think to have pair CM of Thuram - McKennie or Loca - McKennie. Its far too defensive and not enough flair. Thats why i actually consider our CM rotation if it's 2 should be between : Loca / Thuram - Koop / Luiz

I sort of like the idea of Koop and David Luiz together. Two massive flops playing together will give us a lot of laughs.

We shouldnt jump to conclusion too fast for Douglas is a flop. How can we judge him objectively ?
He only 6 times as starter (3 in Serie A, 3 in CHL). Played 90 minutes 4 times and the other 2 matches is around 75 and 66 mins before he subbed off. With a total 908 mins played last season and exclude above 6 times as starter. It means in other 23 matches as subs he only played 17 mins on average. He never got continuity and played with lots of rotation under Motta. You can see him played for several season in Aston Villa and how he was rated as best and mid scoring CM there.

Koop also not an AM / Winger. In AZ / Atalanta / Netherlands, he never played as AM/SS. Return him as CM and we'll see.

With them we have 2 CM we have options for CM that score goals / assists.

Euros so obsessed with hating on him. He's been the most consistent midfielder for this club the past few years. Yet Jj fans still throat Locatelli for vanity stats, Gatti for gRIntA, and any other non American of no reason.

the tears of hate are delicious

I can admit that Jj has been banter era since 2018. But his contribution and growth since he joined exceeds all expectations. No other player since he joined has come close tbh. He's nowhere great or legendary. But he does his job - regardless of where he's deployed. If he was that poor then Jj would have paid him to leave like so many others and signed another trash euro or south american to upgrade the position. Yet, Locatelli, Louise, Cvckminors, Bentancur, Zakaria received more anticipatory hype and praise from meaningless stat categories than him. While he defends, assists, makes threatening runs, and scores than any midfielder this club has had in years.

But it's ok. Low IQ Jj fans still wet themselves over the prospect of Cristantes and Montolivios. Its a tale as old as time

Five seasons for Wes McKennie in Juve.
Five seasons without scudetto. Five seasons of banter.
On August 1, 2020 we won our last scudetto (covid season). Later that month McKennie signed for Juve.

How blind, or how American does one have to be not to see the connection?

Lasik is a luxury in the states

Also, I didn’t know we’re in this position we are in now post 2020 Scudetto, solely because Wes.

Wasn’t due to the likes of Elkann,
sporting directors,
managers,
jj medical.

@Alen You mention 5 seasons however not 5 reasons.

Ok however he can’t win it alone.

I’m pretty sure we would’ve been lower on the table in past seasons if it wasn’t for his contributions in some decisive games.
He's not the sole reason for the banter era. But he is its symbol. Just like Chiellini wasn't t the only reason we won 9 scudetti, but he was the only one here for all of them.
We had 4 managers, countless directors and players during the last five seasons, but only McKennie and Pinsoglio were here since 2020. Pinsoglio was here before, when we were winning, so that leaves Wes as the sole symbol of the banter era.
