or maybe we don't know all he details about the money moves like we think we do since mnay of these gurus are also morons that don't know.
.
Might be true and no disrespect to any posters here but also maybe their not knowing for sure money details so not responding to possible salary figures to go along with opinions?

No he is not doing anything wrong. But Weston and Juve lost this one imo
Yes seems to be a lose-lose scenario presently but I guess Wes going all-in with his future.

if the rumors were right then he simply wanted more money
I quit a job 3 months ago where I was absolutely loved for a job with a significantly higher pay but having to deal with a lot of jerks. He’s a professional and cannot completely block out the most fashionable league but I wouldn’t be surprised if he asks for more money in exchange for being more miserable.

do you have any ideas on his motivation though? even agresti have no clue what mckennie is about. the offer from aston villa was good enough, it made no sense to refuse it

He seems like a pretty open book. You literally just saw the article about how he hates England. Doesn’t seem to be a totally a money issue.

You usually don’t trust anything journalists say. Is it just because you hate McKennie you made a big u turn?

He's not in Juve plans. It wasn't a coincidence he went to Leeds on loan. AV is going to play in the CL next season, they have a good coach in Emery, they were offering him a good salary, what else does he expect? That clubs like City, Liverpool, Bayern, PSG or Real will come knocking in a year? These are the arguments mentioned by Agresti and I completely agree with him. It's highly unlikely he's gonna hit similar numbers next season so it could've been his best shot.
Maybe CL isn’t ALL that he wants. Maybe he just doesn’t like AV. No one here is in position to pick their next pro club so sorry everyone’s feelings are hurt he didn’t take the first club that knocked at the door.

everyone here mad at mckennie for respecting his contract. but fagioli commits an illegal act that hsould have got him fired but all are ok with him getting a contract renewal and starting

FIGC is right to target this club
It’s a good point. Everyone loves him even though he fucked us pretty hard. And once again you have Locatelli who adds nothing, is expensive, and hosts the ball 50 yards out of the stadium.

Oh right. Now I member. They’re Italian, so it’s Ok.

lol it’s amazing people were genuinely struggling with his decision.

Lemme know when you all are up for a new contract and want to pick your next pro club lol

We are still getting DL, right? So all is NOT lost. Locatelli is the higher threat to our midfield quality IMO…push that fucker out immediately while keeping all options open for Wes to go and/or another trade

he didn't initially refuse to go back to england. according to all journalists he entered the negotiations, it was down to his requests

i don't hate mckennie, i just don't think he's in a position to make unrealistic requests. and i sort of trust two journalists (agresti and schira)

Is it unrealistic to refuse a move to AV if that’s somewhere you don’t wanna go? Wouldn’t it be unrealistic of the club to force a player to go to a club THEY want in a transfer? It’s not like it’s a loan. It’s a permanent move

- - - Updated - - -

Nothing wrong with him putting his foot down…” I’ll go but I’ll chose where at the very least the league”

Yes, but in your case going from earning $5000 a month to $8000 a month can represent a seismic shift. In McNuggets case, earning 3 million instead of 4 isn't going to impact his consumption of cheeseburgers one bit.

Never seen this kind of throating for a bang average player. Pretty unreal.

Who the fuck cares where he goes as long as he fucks off. He was a banter signing to begin with. Tici and his vision of signing fodder like Mckennie turned us into a meme club for a short while.

Hopefully we've put these bad years behind us. Time to become a serious institution again.

His contract is expiring in 2025. Would he rather stay and be frozen out and then have limited options as a free agent in 2025? :boh:

I guess that's a risk he might be willing to take :b81:

I'm disappointed that you keep discussing his wages, his stats, his decision not to join an EPL and CL team, and so on, when the only thing that we should be talking about is how is McKennie a footballer at all.

Footballers have a short professional life so it’s understandable that he wants to maximize his earnings. Plus all his peers do the same.

I understand that, but the jump from 30 million to 50 million isn't as significant as you might think it is - you can still pretty much do the same shit. It's not as if we're talking about the difference between earning 30 million and 300 million.

You sound very butthurt about all of this. Why? Douglas Luiz is still joining, unless his medical fails. Are you a Barrenchea throater?

LOL but go back and read this entire thread and tell me this isn't just as appropriate as your post...... "Never seen this kind of hating fo a bang average player. Pretty unreal." ;)

LMAO the one poster agreeing to your post is the forum's #1/2 hater of Wes. :delpiero:

It's pretty clear who's more butthurt and getting all touchy about Mckennie these past few days

You literally posted this the other day:
Cannot wait until I get to scrutinize every single touch and non-touch this Lolzillian makes next season. Gonna be fun.
You want to bash an incoming player for a player who won't even be here next season anyway..

As I said, you have become what you hate bruh. You bash Azzurri fanboys for throating players based on nationality but you do the same with American players.

It’s literally one player. The first ever American at JJ. It’s not like I’m asking us to sign Freddy Adu or something. And on top of that, McKennie hasn’t even been that bad for us.
