do you have any ideas on his motivation though? even agresti have no clue what mckennie is about. the offer from aston villa was good enough, it made no sense to refuse it

Agresti went in on McKennie, holy shit. Never seen that from him, he’s usually neutral. He must be loving his new job lol.

It made perfect sense because he doesn’t want AV. Why is this so hard for people to grasp?

If he wants them he will say yes.

Put yourself in his shoes if it’s even possible:

settle for AV or wait for contract to run out where you have more suitors or find new deal at Juve. What would you do?

No he is not doing anything wrong. But he will spend a year of his career not playing now. both Weston and Juve lost this one imo

He's not in Juve plans. It wasn't a coincidence he went to Leeds on loan. AV is going to play in the CL next season, they have a good coach in Emery, they were offering him a good salary, what else does he expect? That clubs like City, Liverpool, Bayern, PSG or Real will come knocking in a year? These are the arguments mentioned by Agresti and I completely agree with him. It's highly unlikely he's gonna hit similar numbers next season so it could've been his best shot.

he was fine with schalke and leeds, now he refuses a club that plays in the cl, that has a good coach, that offers him the best contract of his meh career, despite his desire to play in the pl

and he goes to the athletic just to say that he doesn't like complications and drama, and shits on his current club, the tough guy he is. players with similar interviews include lukaku, a dumb fuck, and ronaldo, the walking narcissism. nice company

of course it makes no sense. that's most probably the best offer he'll get

Napoli is interested apparently. He can be very useful for Conte.

The Leeds experience might’ve soured him? He spoke about England being a depressing place.

everyone here mad at mckennie for respecting his contract. but fagioli commits an illegal act that hsould have got him fired but all are ok with him getting a contract renewal and starting

FIGC is right to target this club
