We all know this guy can’t play football.

He can’t pass, he can’t tackle, he can’t close down, he can’t be tactically disciplined, he’s slow, he can’t create, he can’t cross, he can’t man mark, he can’t shoot, he can’t dribble, but most importantly: HE CANT BE DROPPED

So what can we all do collectively to make sure this guy never plays another minute for us????
I'm sure the reason he is playing is the lack of defensive options at RB/RWB and CB. If we sign a CB we could have played Danilo at RB instead of the middle. That means we can play Chiesa/Di Maria/Soule on the right and have someone defensive behind them. Or have Cuadrado back to play on the right. We were never going to play Napoli with Chiesa having to deal with their Georgian winger on his own.

Based on the players available we have 1 other option on the right just now and that is Barbieri. We need better fullbacks/wingbacks to allow us to play 4-3-3 or 3-5-2 properly. If we do that I'm confident we wouldn't be playing McKennie in a game like today.

But even then it’s not acceptable. He is total and utter shit. And playing a shit player out of position is an awful idea. Just play anyone else there and they will offer more than McKennie. If McKennie came through our youth academy he’d be loaned out to Cesena

I don't disagree but I think that's what it would take to stop him getting minutes.

I thought he did well against Udinese (defensively at least) to be fair to him but was atrocious today in just about everything.

He was fine against Udinese because we didn't have him in the center and he had 1 task, which objectively he fulfilled well. Once you put him in the center his weaknesses get exposed.

the stubbornness of starting this guy over and over again is really mind-boggling.

The coach man the coach.
He needs scapegoat
Agree ... poor McKennie get all this hate , but he just follows instruction by his employer who pays him his salary , he never chose him self to be in the starting 11... there is only 1 guy to balme and his name is dinosaur Allegri , Even Mckennie wouldn't choose him self in the stating 11 , but if someone is dumb enough to let him play , he will play...

Agree, but I don’t trust any player performances under this anti-coach, clearly he has no idea what he’s doing.
