Impressive that he managed to do everything wrong today.

Allegri rightfully with the comments saying he should have scored 4 goals. He was never great for us but the regression he has shown over the last 12 months is fairly spectacular for all the wrong reasons

Who the heck told him he can do back heels and flick? BITCH YOU CANT.

He was trying them like 8 out of 10 times. To horrible effect. Like only two good passes to Rabiot into space forward, otherwise felt like everything else he attempted was brainless and incompetent flashy passing. Learn the frigging basics first.

There’s no way we bought him because of his footballing abilities. He’s an average player from Schalke and below par at everything a midfielder should be good at.

Does anyone else think that we only bought him because he’s American?

American players do have a lot of marketing potential after all. It’s probably the same reason why Barcelona bought that mediocre fullback called Dest.
Actually his first few games were really good. Track back in this thread, we were happy with him.

Then he got the american player of the year award, his house got robbed, he got an injury or covid or whatever and it went downhill since then.
I think after the barca game he became trash.

Just a clear case of some dude that reached some high level and then decided to do get fat, threw parties and not care anymore.

Pirlo was probably fond of those, last year McBurger kept doing this shit all the time.

I'm not sure Max will be able to weed it out, hopefully we fool some EPL side into buying him asap, enough with these experiments.

McKennie seems like he’s changed his mindset. When he first started at Juve he was the player I know from the USMNT, energetic and solid all around. Now it doesn’t seem like he’s motivated and I have no idea what he’s doing on the pitch thus far this season; he was better under Pirlo. He also really screwed himself with the nonsense during the NT break, something I will not put up with all at all.

I actually hope we sell him because something is off with him, this manager, and this club. Needs a manager who can make him better and I don’t think Allegri is the right one for him.

You know it, baby. I’ll be spending the winter at my RV resort/golf course in Palm Springs, sipping Mai Tai’s by the pool. :weee:

@Hust @Bjerknes
I actually love Palm Springs. Went there in June and had a great time. Solid restaurants, hot weather, beautiful scenery, close to LA, and lots of gays.

He was like this from the start. He is in bad form atm but also with Pirlo he showed that he cannot play in Central midfield. He is too poor of a midfielder.

When he shone it was in an attacking role, running into space and attacking the box. It either an attacking mezzala role for him or on the right side of the current 442.

In short he is not good enough as he is far from what we need in those roles

He was statistically one of the best B2B midfielders in Germany and performs well for the USMNT in the same role. Juventus isn’t always the primary source of truth for everything; this club is flawed as fuck.

B2B in what setup? In a midfield 3 maybe. that's what I wrote, he has to be mezzala. And we are currently not really using those. As a player he isn't good enough to have more responsibilities in midfield.

He isn't good enough to be in midfield 2 of a 442. He also is nowhere near capable to bench Cuadrado or Chiesa on the right side.

The US NT and Schalke are not the same level that Juve needs consistently either. Juve may be in disarray, but we still watch the players. The qualities of De Ligt, Dybala, Morata, Kean, Locatelli, Chiesa are still visible.

You are so butthurt about Allegri. Jesus.

Mckennie has only himself to blame for turning to shit in the second half of last season (no, a minor injury has nothing to do with the fact he couldn’t play the simplest of passes or do anything right on the pitch for the last 4 months of the season) and now even worse this year, getting fat, and behaving like a clown off the pitch.

Blaming Max. Lol

Muricans overrating and giving every excuse in the book for McPotter playing like a turd for months. :lol2: Him and Bentancur are in a competition for worst midfielder this club has seen since Stu left. At least he had heart and grinta though. These two don’t have an ounce of either.

I agree and I hope we sell him. I have a different reason though: he’s not Juve material.

I said it myself, I'm not happy with how he's playing. But for me I'm more pissed at him because of his antics with the USMNT.

It's not about being butthurt, your favorite word. Can't people just accept that not everyone wants the same manager back? Yes, I didn't want Allegri back, but that doesn't mean he's not good at certain things. I just think Mckennie would be better off with a more progressive manager, one that can also kick his ass when needs be, and is also invested in the player. I still don't think Allegri wants him or knows how to get the best out him.

"Juve Material." Remember that? @JCK

Yeah Juve is a mess right now. Plus a midfield of 3 is what modern football has moved towards, he’s a modern footballer
If I was advising young players, I would tell them stay clear of Juve. And I'm a Juve fan. That's just fucking sad, this needs to change.

Dybala was terrible coming here to play under Allegri as a young player in his first 3 years here. Morty too back in 14-16 under Max destroying it in CL. Pogba having his two best seasons of his entire career under Max was terrible too. I’m sure Chiesa and Kean and Locatelli will be terrible under Allegri too. I mean the first two scored today and the latter has been far and away our best mid thus far… but hey, young players suck under Allegri!

You literally acknowledge nothing good about Allegri. Don’t make me laugh. I have no issue with someone preferring another manager, but the way some of you shit on him for every little thing and act like he’s a scrub of a manager is just stupid.

Dybala wasn’t shit at Palermo. That’s why we bought him. I never said Allegri was a scrub, he’s good at using what he has. Let’s see if he can get the best out of some of these young players, other than McKennie of course since he’s a goner.
