I can't claim to say 'I told you so' because I didn't, but I reckon members on here have a funny habit of writing players off or categorising them after a handful of games. In McKennie's case it was especially weird. He'd been showing all right signs in his early cameos even on match day 1. When a player is a naturally hard worker physically that's a good indication that they're going to be working just as hard on the other aspects of their game. So, I think he has a lot more improvement in him. Not quite as deft as Vidal was but he's pretty close to Vidal in a lot of ways and Vidal at his peak was my absolute favourite midfielder.
God, I wish Australia would start producing talents like these.
