Fuck that. It means shit. 10 G+A, no matter if it's 5G+5A, 10G+0A, or, in McKennie's case, 0 goals+10 assists, is still 10 G+A.
McKennie himself had a season with 9 G+A three years ago, almost the same as last season, and we know well what happened after that 9G+A season.
10 G+A is nothing special. Kostic had 14 G+A in 2022/23, Bentancur had 8 G+A in 19/20, Pereyra had 10 G+A in 2014/15.
Nobody made a big deal about any of these.
Especially it is in all competitions, and half of those or 5 assists are in 2 match against Frosinone. One match in Serie A (2assists) and another in Coppa Italia(3 assists)

Not high important matches, where he can abuse his stats

half of his assist were against Frosinone...

That implies that we should keep Kostic because those 14 G/A under Allegri could become 28 G/A under Motta, or try to convince Rabiot to return, because his 17 G/A from 2022/23 are actually equal to Ronaldo's numbers here.
one could argue Vlahovic was actually capocannoniere for last two seasons too.

I never said we should keep Mckennie or even kostic for that matter, quite the opposite if anything.

Would it be crazy to make this guy play for us. He did fine last year.

Is it crazy to think we would have been fine with chiesa soule mck and tek still being in the lineup and making 1 or 2 signings in midfield to help

Is it that crazy

Both Chiesa and McKennie are on expiring contracts so trying to sell them is understandable.

Answer to all your questions is: money

If we had an infinite amount of money and played CL last year it wouldn't matter if we had all these guys on our paylists, but since half these players have contracts ending in 2025 it's financially irresponsible to not try and sell them and balance the books and get replacements with higher ceilings, longer contracts and lower wages.

Yes but we're not selling them because we dumped all our leverage. So now we pay them and they also don't play.

Like I understand it's not ideal for Motta to put some of these into his hipster formation but I'm sure mckennie could figure out how to put a couple goals in then you sell in January

Or extend chiesa, he scores 10 goals, we finish 2nd or 3rd as we would anyways, then sell for something

Instead we are trying for a whole new team and ending up with nothing instead

I hope he accepts Fiorentina - He can do well there (He isnt that horrible. He actually had a good season and in an AM role given the right role he could do well at Fiorentina)

man i understand how mckennie feels.

mckennie watches fagioly who commited illegal crimes and did fuck all entire season get a new contract with higher pay. and he can't even run or jog in a friendly game.

meanwhile he plays entire season and club wanted him to renew at lower salary and when he refused they made him to be the bad guy.

scumbag behavior from juve

Fagioli will never have 10 assists for Juventus in a season. Not just because he’s weak and probably will end up banned again for betting, but because he’s not as good as McKennie.

This club is racist.

I’m already mentally prepared for McKennie willing to rot on the bench so he can get a higher salary when his contract runs out. Same risk for Chiesa but I think Chiesa cares about his career more and wants to play.
