I think people are overreacting when it comes to player ages, we do have some players that are getting older, but it's not like we have to replace all of them this summer. Also beside Pirlo we didn't sign any 30yr old, except some shitty loans as a stop gap solutions. We have at least two more seasons to replace them, and even though we don't have money, I'm confident that we will not end up like Milan, especially because we are more financially stable than they were, and because we don't have fatass contracts with our players like they did. Just look at the contract they had with Flamini and others.

Oh, and I'm against signing Snejider
Agree.
Plus we have few youngsters already that will be ready comes summer...
Berardi,Rugani,Coman.
Sturaro might be,maybe Zaza.

I can't believe I am actually going to say this, but if I had to choose, and again, if I HAD to choose, I would prefer Diamanti over Sneijder. At least Diamanti could be a warm body for the CL.

And he's left footed.

:D
I actually would not be against this transfer. A trequartista would suit the Tevez and Llorente partnership allowing Wesley to create the play and Tevez to move more in attack rather then dropping as deep as he does and leaving Llorente alone (which he has complained about and attributes his lack of success this season to)

I can see this signing, if it happens, to being one that is criticized at first but in the end would really improve out team and attacking play. Similar to the signing of a 32 year old Pirlo who was on the bench at Milan for his last year. Look how that worked out. People here really need to get over their drama when they see a player who is 30, now days 30 is still young. Its pretty dumb to think a player will turn to shit in a few months once they pass a date on a calender.

I would way rather have Wesley as a trequartista then Peryera or Vidal.

That is laughable
Agree.

I'm not a fan of this move, but yes he's for sure will do better as AM than Pereyra/Vidal/Pogba.

not being convinced with Shaqiri? Fine. Being convinced with Sneijder? wtf!!
As an AM.
Sneijder is playing that role naturally.
Shaqiri on other side CAN do it,but if you want a natural clasic AM for sure Sneijder fits the bill.
His age, level of playing is questionable no doubt.
Barzagli was passed it.

Pirlo was passed it.

Even people thought tevez wasn't going to add much.
Well....
We can only hope he will suprise us for good and be great for us exactly as the Barza/Pirlo/Tevez signings.

head of the table, final supper, making farewell speech.

:p
:D
He is not for sale thats why his price is 15-20m euros dude.Gala have financial problems and Sneijder's salary is 3.2m euros net.But still we dont want to sell him because he can bring us champion title of our league and CL success.

Everybody talking about his salary but last year he scored against Juve and bring 10m euros for Galatasaray + He scored 17 goals and make 9 assists. He promises to clubs to improve their games so Gala won't sell it.If juve really wants to buy him, they have to pay at least 15m euros.
Hi there,
Marotta will never pay 15M for him.
You bought him for fucking 7.5M.
I'm sure Juve working to get him on a free/max 5M deal.
You won't get 15-20 mil from Marotta.Watch and see.Maybe he will came here maybe not but Gala won't get 15 mil.
This.

Every time we sign anyone near 30 years old or above we have to talk about Anelka. Like as if he was brought here to lead us to glory and flopped instead of being brought as 5th choice striker on a loan for 5 dollars and let go at end of season.

We can't? Or do you mean we don't want to?
Di Marzio says sneijder is allegri's first choice and he wasn't convinced with shaqiri as a playmaker
Maybe we are unsure about Shaqiri. I'm not convinced by him and wouldn't want us paying over the odds for him. Given that we know 3 teams are interested maybe his price has been pushed up too much.
So we aren't sure or don't want to but on the other hand immobile Sneijder is his wet dream? That's exactly what's wrong with Italians. After every single game there's crying for pace and directness upfront and to fix that problem we're bringing in a player who can pass and has great vision but is unable to run anymore. He'll simply duplicate what Pirlo and Tevez do for us. Two lazy playmakers in the middle is exactly what we need. Add to that the regista of the defense and we're set :D

If Allegri really prefers Sneijder over Shaqiri I already have no doubts - he's not the man for the job.

---------Marchisio
-----Vidal---------Pogba

----------Sneijder

---------------Tevez
----------Morata

If sneijder is still as good as the galasataray fans claim, its better then playing 4cm's with Pirlo. Especially in europe.
So we're now sacrificing Pirlo for Sneijder? :sergio:

Why get a winger like Shaqiri and play as a CAM? Unless we plan on switching to another new formation again this season like a 433 why spend the money on a winger? If we insist on w 4312 then don't we need a CAM?

Just let it happen. :zizinho:
Shaqiri can play AM and he does play as one for his NT. He also played like that at Bayern. Maybe he's far from WC but that's how these kind of players play these days at clubs like Bayern - they can cover multiple positions during a match exchanging with each other when things don't go their way. I realize it's too new for Italians but what can you do? We prefer ancient Sneijder - typical Italian move.

I'm not liking it at all but we'll see. The way I see it we'll be even more predictable with those playmakers passing it around while our only threats on flanks will be Licht and Evra.
