Crespo-Sheva? Too much for us if you ask me.......

Our fowards cant compete with this Duo.....both of them at top-age.....both of them fast,strong,dangerous.....they make a relationship with everything our front two miss......and mark my words: Inzaghi wont play so much and that is my onley hope(disruption from inside) that Milan will not crush everything in their way....ATM our current position is 3rd-4th place...

I don't care about Crespo or Veron, or how Milan is doing, what I care about is our 1st choice strikers really isn't going to scare anyone next season, Del Piero and Trezeguet really isn't good enough anymore. Plus we haven't even sorted the basics, our centre backs, where the hell are they ?

As I said before, we will surely make our moves this summer.
I think that Cannavaro, Oddo and Jankulovski will arrive, Emerson is as good as our player and with one striker we would be set for the next season.

But, none of those players have arrived yet, while Inter has brought in four or five players, Milan has signed Crespo and Stam; and Roma has wrapped up Ferrari. We've not really improved at all yet.

We have got Chiellini, Zebina and Kapo........... what a mercato.
I see your point, but Moggi confirmed that Emerson should be here within a week, the Oddo deal is nearly done, and I think if we can get the Cannavaro - di Vaio deal through, Wiltord would be a Juve player on the next day.
About Jankulovski, we will have to wait for that one, I think.

Crespo has never been a awesome player - one can dazzle the fans. But he is a solid pro and does his job pretty well: He certainly knows where the goal is. Furthermore, I think he is kind of player who will complement Sheva very well a la John Dahl Tommasson but better and a different way. He works hard, and can battle position with defenders thus allowing Sheva to enjoy extra space and time.

I am going to wait before making a judgement on Calcio Mercato. As far as I am concerned though, Chellini and Kapo are worthwile investment. I have always liked Kapo and I am excited to see what kind of play Chellini will show us next year. Only thing that concerns me is that these youngsters alongside Maresca, Brighi, Blasi might be sold or loaned out.
Altough I think it wont happen, I would like to see complete overhaul in the team, selling some of Iluliano, Montero, Trezeguet, Nedved/Del Piero, Di Vaio, Tachinardi, Pessetto or Thuram and replacing them with Gilardino, Mexes, Miguel, Emerson, Rosicky/Aimar, Miccoli, Maresca, Zlatan, Cavalho, Squilliacci, Evra, etc. Some of our players were so lathargic last year, I cant stand and believe that they are coming back for one more year.

BTW, no more old veteran players! I want youth and exhuberance!

No, Nedved is definetely the last man I would want to sell: He is one of few players who gave 110% week in and week out though he wasnt on top of his form last year. The problem, IMO, is that both he and Del Piero are aging, and declining in value. Though as much as I love both players, I wouldnt mind cashing in one of our stars, and invest the money on young talent a la Rosicky or Aimar.
While I believe signing Kapo was worthwhile, I still reckon we havent been active enough on the transfer market, and as the team stands right now, I give us little chance of winning Lo Scudetto next year.

I agree Jun, but the rplacemnet for both players are already here: Miccoli for Del Piero, and if we are lucky, Kapo turns out to be the new Nedved.
Still, I wouldn't make any previews for next season, as we still have not even bought ONE player. All so far were for free, and I think that we will make some good moves. Still, we have the best coach, and he came here to win! And thats what we all want!

We are now being linked with other names again. Capello wants a new defender after the Emerson deal is completed. Cannavaro is the most wanted, but it could hit difficulties. Moggi has already lined up possible replacements for Cannavaro;

Ujfalusi and the Brazilian(who plays for bayer leverkusen) Juan. uan isn't THAT good though.

OH and we're linked with Panucci (again).

I think Juan is better than Lucio. He can play nearly every position in defense, and is great in the air, young and maybe quite cheap. I would get him, although I think that Cannavaro will arrive!

I'll take your word for it :).
I actually meant though that I don't think Juan is one can who solve our defensive problems short-term. Cannavaro might be able to do that.

Probably because they both suck. Veron hasn't been good since he left Lazio and Crespo hasn't been good for the better part of a decade now.
yeah.both may be capable to returning to form, but juve hardly takes risks like that.

True, Juan is a good defender, but not the leader and personality, who can fix our problems.

Wtf, they say we've signed Wiltord  :scared:

"Se arriva Wiltord - aveva detto Trezeguet - è la conferma che la Juve sta operando molto bene sul mercato. Sylvain ha grandissime qualità ed è un giocatore che può essere impegnato in più ruoli".
