he is not the GREAT defender thje people taks about.

I have never liked his pace and style of play.... . He tend to do silly errors.
In his last NT game against Uruguay... he was the "Man of the match" doing mistakes...... it was unbeliavable....

he looked like a school boy defender.. He did SO MANY mistakes that in the half time... the guys from the TV did a tiny video showing all the errors he did.... silly silly!!!. Birindelli´s performance against siena yesterday was NOTHING in comparison with that horrid things he sis against uruguay....

and dont come with "it was just agame".... because i have seen him doing that things a lot.... but now im very very sure that he is not a player for JUVE

I'll leave patriotism aside, as it ruins objectivity, and disregard Van Buyten. If any, a Belgian who's potentially classy enough to match Juve's standards is 17 years old Vincent Kompany but it's too early for the young starlet to move on. But remember the name.

This summer, I'd go for Mexès & Oddo. Move Thuram to CB.
Oddo-Thuram-Legrottaglie-Zambrotta seems perfect.

Yeah, Kompany is great! Shame Anderlecht were eliminated from Europe - I enjoyed watching him play (on Canvas, that is. Of course.)

Kompany's too young, indeed! Only 17 (or 18 dunno) He can stay a few seasons with Anderlecht, and after that he can go international
