I wish they still opened the tournament with the Champions playing the first game. That way we could still watch a decent match.
1990 Argentina losing to Cameroon and 2002 France losing to Senegal was huge upsets. This Russia Saudi match is like opening Serie A with Crotone Cagliari.

Salah left out of today's match

Sensible thing to do imo. Dont risk him if he's not fully fit. Egypt will fancy their chances against Saudi and Russia with a fully fit Salah on the other hand.
