Baggio would make that kind of move, and instead of passing he'd dribble past all his markers and score a winner. Mate, most of the goals that Baggio scored were unreal, dribbling past every defender along the way. He was fairly strong in duels, apart from being incredibly technically gifted player. While slight push and that pale midget is going down.
BUT! Unlike what you say he will be forgotten quickly, and remembered by only a few, more will remember Iniesta.

even Ribery can do better than what he posted

Iniesta will be remembered, Ribery and Ladyboy won't.

Saying that Baggio was better than Iniesta is biased  It's called common sense.
No.

You were underrating Iniesta to prove a point and claimed that Iniesta doesn't stand out and will not be remembered. That was clueless.

i said he is one of the greatest Spanish players of all time, world wide not
And that's why you're a dolt.

I don't know why are we even discussing who is better player between these two. My fault for always getting into these ridiculous debates.
You didn't just say that Baggio was better. You made Iniesta's abilities sound like Marchisio's.

Nah, I haven't. I've always liked Iniesta and consider him to be an excellent player, but the fact is he was not vital for Spain in a way that Baggio was for Italy back in '94. Xavi was pulling all the strings for Spanish side and he was the main reason for their triumph. Take Xavi out and you'll see the real value of that Spanish side. Considering that Xavi has decayed lately, you might get your answers very soon, maybe even after this WC.

Yes you did.

In a few years, let alone few decades, very few will remember Iniesta, while Baggio's legacy is eternal. Idividual accolades that he won during his career are nothing short of impressive.
Baggio and Iniesta are very different players, position and talent wise; what Baggio could do on the pitch is pure magic, dribling past 3-4 guys was standard for him, Iniesta doesn't have fraction of his talent, nor decisiveness, and it's pointless to continue comparision between these two. Iniesta is fine player, but falls short of Italian in many areas of the game. Ask anyone from that period who saw him, probably will tell you the same. Vision, dribbling, set pieces, finishing, intelligence, etc...

Iniesta is part of the greatest Spanish side, but he's not the one that stands out, there are many others equally good or better than him. Baggio could make an average side look like a world-beater. FFS the guy when he had 38 yo was still one the best players in Serie A, making it possible that minnows like Brescia stay above relegation zone.

Then why don't we have a Greece National Team WC 2014 thread? Consistency is key to everything.

I'm such a badass.
Cause the ratio (Greece fans)/(active members) is null, otherwise I would have said go ahead. African teams have lots of fans here, but most people are just too timid to admit. In any case, this thread will be busy.

There are many Americans too here.
