What about the things that go for them?
When I write that I'm only being an ass.

I don't hate Italy but it's funny sometimes to read certain things.

I'm writing the doctorate. Sometimes it goes smoothly when I write about more interesting things and when I can write more freely. But when there is a capitol where you must stick to the facts, numbers etc, it's living hell. I feel like breaking the bloody PC, lose everything I have in it, set all my papers on fire and kill myself.
Oh, right I forgot you're working on that. And ouch, that must be a real hell. What's the subject, or stuff you're working on at the moment?

And Jesus, will you tell me your predictions for tonight or I have to come to Croatia? Unless you're only hiding your winning ticket :D

To wade in the J.Cesar argument, i think as a general rule, when a keeper comes out to get a ball and leaves his goal he should get the ball, if he doesn't and it ends up in the net its his fault. J.Cesar was at fault for that first goal imo, if he thought he could get it, he should have made it clearer to his teammates that he was coming out.

Beside what's been said here, let's also not forget how long I've been waiting for Julio Cesar to make a stupid blunder. Casillas does it every other week. Buffon once in a while. Julio picked a World Cup quarterfinal.

Yeah, the general ticket prices are higher for semifinals. Seat-for-seat, I think it's at least 2x if not 3x over the group stage ticket prices.

Oh, I was flabbergasted over the 600USD ticket price. That sounded insane to me. It's a small mortgage.

But I'm here, I figure how often I am in this situation, etc. I just lucked out that the tickets I did get were among some of the best of that section. There are 600USD tickets that are dozens of rows back and off to one side.

Meanwhile: all of Africa wants Uruguay out. South Africa included. They are now the most hated team on the continent.
Your right, you shouldn't miss out on an opportunity like this. I'm sure your going to enjoy it

I don't see how a team can't deserve to win a football match. Unless the referee is so obviously biased, I can't see it.
So true. The same logic that i go by. The team who deserves to win is the team that scores more than the other team. If you play well and you missed 20 chances, while the opposition played like shit and scored one goal out of one chance, the latter team deserved to win for being more clinical than you are.

Saying a team was lucky to win, or didn't deserve to win is a cop out.

Oh boy, those argentinian commentators "Robben it's not better than Forlan" "Sneijder it's not better than Suarez"

:sergio:
They're pretty much right considering Forlan though. Both he and Robben have been impressive this season, but Forlan has been more consistent and is having the better World Cup. Robben is showing glimpses, but was caught out tactically all too often against Brazil, while Forlan has been brilliant every single game. If I had to choose right now, I would go with Forlan.

Agreed. Unless the ref fucks up, the team that wins deserves to win. The Dutch were very lucky in the sense that Melo destroyed his own team though.

Exactly, when a ref fucks up like Korea against Spain in 2002, only then can we say a team did not deserve to lose.

Spain did not deserve to lose against Korea.
