That's...unbelievable...
And have in mind that in the 1954-1990 period it was only West Germany. I wonder if the team would have been more successful if Germany was united and if they'd have won more World Cups.

Afterall, looking at the post 1990 period, players like Michael Ballack, Matthias Sammer, Bernd Schneider, Carsten Jancker etc were all from East Germany. I guess that the German squad would have been stronger in the pre-1990 period if both Germany's were united.

When you put it that way....more than half of those Juventini who won a World Cup did it in 1934 and 1938 :D
I was talking about the ridiculous "best club in history" classification and how idiotic it is on club level. While when NT are concerned some of the best football was played on that stage with competition being a fierce one, not one sided as that of the era I spoke about.
You can't just delete a period and history and pretend it didn't happen. Why is the 70's counted and not the 60's. Fact of the matter is, even if you don't consider the 50's and 60's. They are still a more successful club than anyone else, including Juventus.
Yo freddy, I was merely talking my mind. I never asked for those periods to be deleted from history I just find it ridiculous that at the time when no competition was there and RM ruled, is the period that's making a difference in that ridiculous classification.
Real Madrid is a whorehouse.

So what do think about what Alen said?

The ranking you were just proud of, well more than half of them were WC winners in 1934 and 1938 as well. So...

I think Germany should win the WC this time. It'll be 20 years from their last win, which is approx. the gap between their 3 WC wins. Plus one of the European teams HAS to break the jinx of a European team never winning the WC outside of Europe.
