Wow, this forum has ALOT of haters it seems (every big NT except Holland seems to have tons of haters it seems), people are more busy gulping on their hatorades instead of just enjoying the games for what they are.

I mean, I was put off by Brasils constant cry baby antics to the ref, but I'm neautral either way, if they go out or not. They played wonderful in first half, but forgot a game is for 2 halves. But still Holland won without playing well in any particular way, but really lucky goals, but held off well.

Melo is just....Dont know any adjective that would give justice. But man, what a mofo. And as usual, Van Bommel remains to be the most despicable guy in the sport :p

Seriously did Brasil expect more with Melo and freaking Gilberto Silva in the midfield?I don't know if they have better midfielders that Dunga forgot about, but these two just can't get the job done at this level.

No he is not, far from it, he was said to be shit by so many, and questionned when leaving Bayern, and then goes to have a great season with Inter (especially later on, he dominated CL games, like the ones against Chelsea/Drogba). I would hardly say he qualifies for being overrated.

Normally I'd say that is hyperbole, but I can't anymore. The guy seems to be getting progressively worse as time goes on. Sooner or later he's going to explode, literally, and kill half his teammates.
It's the first time I ask Melo to be sold. Defended him much more than he deserved. I can't anymore either.
We forgive him when he does a stupidity against Bari or Siena. We forgive him when he makes "I don't fucking care if they intercept this ball" passes against some minor teams. But when you see how much of a mental case he is even at the biggest stage one football player could imagine, then you know that it's not only about motivation and that the guy is a lunatic who is completely losing it whenever things don't go his way.

Ferrara (or was it Zac?) complained about the way Melo behaves during trainings. Add how he behaves during matches too and there is no doubt anymore that Felipe Melo is hurting the team on and off the pitch more than he's helping it.

Such a shame. I was sooooo excited when we signed him.

Me too, today was the first time I say we should sell him but it is now crystal clear that he's mentally ill.
