This ref is the one who sent Cahil off and he is still in officiating another important game
Fifa is just a bunch of incompetent people that have no clue about the game
This Mexican ref, the Saudi one, the Spanish too have all been aweful

He got clipped and didn't dive.

That said, looks like South America's undefeated streak has finally come to an end.

As for the prospect of Spain-Portugal?

Euro 2004 repeat!! :weee:
It's obvious he got clipped and made since to fall down, but he acting after the incident is just annoying, covering his face and acting as his suffering from a severe pain. That was disgusting to watch, also the Spanish players too believing the whole thing and getting mad as if Torres was shot by a gun

those of you saying he's a diving cunt haven't watched him nearly enough. Torres can be petulant, but he's not a diver. And if you think he went down diving that time, I have to wonder if you've ever played football beyond 6 year old speed
When he first came to the PL he spent half of the game on the ground, obvious he quickly learned he couldn't do it so much, but the WC seems to bring bad habits out of players. Players will do anything to win.

Ref making sure Spain finish 1st in group and avoid Brazil.. Don't want that matchup in the round of 16. Better to save it for later. :snoop:

Fuck Chile, and fuck their keeper Claudio Bravo, they were all over Spain had it not been for that silly naive mistake. Fucking Europeans and their luck i wish them all the worst in this WC.

On the Torres incident, it was intentional from the Chile player, and no Torres didn't dive. But the unprofessional Chile players ruined it for themselves, they're overly aggressive and they are losing their tempers too much. Ponce deserved to get a second yellow for that tackle on Alonso. They're lucky to be playing with ten and not nine players.

Torres is definitely a diver imo. The Liverpool - Inter game comes to mind, but today he did not dive.

You mad? The Chilean dude wasn't even looking at Torres, he was busy running the other side.
