Italy do. South Africa, Uruguay and Mexico are all better teams than those Italy had to play with. And there is no problem within the Azzurri squad as it was in the French NT. Just because Domenech constantly ignored Trez doesn't mean Italy are a better team!

My point was that France came into this WC looking completely unprepared and disinterested

They just didn't seem to care while it seems Italy is trying to do everything they can to stay alive and advance. Even though they are tripping over themselves
