Yes, I was clearly wrong with that demand. I've seen many cases when penalty and a yellow was given for a handball in the box and that's what confused me at first.
p.s: Actually, I didn't make such a demand, but it sounded acceptable in my head, even if I didn't say it

Anyways, I don't think Kewell deliberately handled the ball. Australia were very unlucky.
The word deliberate is used to differentiate between voluntary/reckless and involuntary/unavoidable actions.
If someone slapped or bumped Kewell's arm and it hit the ball, that's not deliberate, i.e. something he had control over.
If he moves his hand into that position, it's deliberate, something he had control over. He was standing like fucking donkey kong on the line.
Deliberate refers to the movement of the arm, not the plan behind it. Refs are not mindreaders and the rules are designed to allow them to deal with what can be observed rather than implied. How well they do that is another debate.

It all begins from the men behind the whistle and the obvious errors. The only consistency from the refs is to continually send off the men in green and yellow. Sure we are a physical team as we are less gifted than other nations but it doesn’t mean you hunt them down for any foul play. I wish FIFA gave answers but it’s not the way they go about things.
Cahill got sent off for a tackle from behind which he had no intention of injuring the German he actually pulled his legs away from the challenge and ended up fouling him with his knees. Australians were 2-0 down and were going to lose but we conceded another two destroying our goal difference. Now the explanation from all was to stamp out the challenge from behind. Well fast forward your mind to Ghana, Addy tackles from behind and takes out Bresciano studs to ankles and only receives the yellow. I don’t understand I thought they were stamping out the tackle from behind? After all that was the sole reason for Cahill.
With the red towards Kewell I think it’s a handball a very technical one it was no way intentional. It’s a case of the penalty far out ways a crime. His hands by his side with the ball striking him near the shoulder to arm section with his chest pushed out. Rossetti was adamant it was a clear handball in this case it wasn’t. In the end there will be little uproar as we dream of hosting the 2022 World Cup. But this in the end cost Australia 3 points and maybe qualification, with a goal difference at -4 hopes are dashed.

They gave us ear plugs before games in South Africa. The noise is really loud, in the S.Africa game, literally you couldn't hear yourself speak, and if you shouted at the top of your lungs, the guy beside you wouldn't even know you opened your mouth unless he was looking at you.
But imo it contributes to the atmosphere, and i personally liked it very much.
