Btw, Dule, the striker position isn't your biggest problem. It's the playmaker position where you lack quality. Stankovic simply should not be the main playmaker of the team.
The long balls and easily lost balls were a consequence of your poor playmaking quality in central midfield. Neither the fullbacks nor the wingers get enough balls to be dangerous.

I've watched them so many times. It always goes well, but you simply have to wait for Pantelic's good day to see him score. Zigic is nothing - he's good in the air but he can't pass the ball while in the air, he loses every ball easily.
Today they had a strange approach, we never used crosses. Krasic and Jovanovic were cutting inside as we didn't want to attack from the flanks and I have no idea why he did it. Stankovic always produces many balls from that positions and surpisengly enough Milijas was decent in the first half, he had some very good balls.
Our finishing touch is what we lack, we need someone who could hold up the ball in attack and surprise, we need Vucinic or Jovetic to do that. I'm telling you, we never ever had this poor strikers, who are this dull. Pantelic was good in Germany but he was always a disaster for our NT, as he misses every single chance and people hate him here. Zigic was always crap, I have no idea why he plays.
I think it's not fair that Antic is not letting Mrdja play, as he could do much more upfront. When our strikers shine on their day we can't be beaten easily, no way. France was struggling, and we crushed all the other teams. Back then we had Stankovic - Milijas or Stankovic - Kacar, everything went smooth but mostly because Pantelic played good (after 3 years he managed to show something).
You miss a lot - you lose. Today we missed two 100% chances which reflected this way and we lost. The way Zigic hit the ball was strange and retarded, they can't afford to miss such chances. Seems like we're back to our old selves and our Balkan mentality. Sucks, I gotta tell you. We never had such a strong team and we showed that in the qualifications.
