If it did not bother you, you'd turn a blind eye. I had no malice in what I said. I told people who were supporting the US to get themselves and people who support countries different to their origin should be eradicated. I stand by what I said. If you want to react to it it's up to you. I know it clearly bothers you all thats why I knew you would all react. I'm suprised at you Ahmed.

I actually congractulated the US boys and I wrote on Andy's facebook.

to be honest it doesn't, whoever proclaims it, doesn't affect me in the least...but what is pathetic is to see someone doing it deliberately to get people worked up, because I haven't seen you indulge in this kind of frivolity before.

I don't give a crap if there are non-English people that support the English NT and why the hell would I? If you don't like that then that's fine, but why would you pass judgement on the fact that non-Italians are supporting us? A Juve fan from Manchester should know better.

This is for you Ahmed

I tend to avoid the argument like the plague because it's an unwinable one. However people cheering for the US tonight who are not American pissed me off quite abit thats why I lashed out. I said fanboys and fabgirls in general annoy me I never mentioned the Azzurri ones. My post was aimed at the idiots who were cheering for America in this thread. It was Hoori who immediatly jumped the gun.

It's a good job I do support Juventus and show my support by jetting over to Turin numerous times in a season because the residents of Torino hardly help Juventus cause.

I think you'd be better calling out fans who have never stepped foot in Turin or Italy for that matter.

No I wasn't trying to say you're any less of a fan. I'm just saying that you'd not get all that much acceptance from italian juve fans in general, and I'm not saying that's a good thing. But on the other hand you shouldn't be intolerant towards people who are in the same shoes on the national level.

I'm not talking about people who cheer for the opposing team just because they don't like a particular team. Those petty people aren't really cheering FOR anyone, just AGAINST someone, and that's always lame.

I think supporting a foreign club team is a level below supporting a different country. For me as a England fan I feel I can relate to the national side, as much as I love Brazil I cannot get the same kind of passion and connection as I can supporting England.

Maybe the key word in all what I say is 'I' call me narrow minded but I cannot see how anybody else can connect to a country the way you need to do to support it.

And furthermore, a club team isn't an extension of national identity, we don't choose what nation we belong in, we are born into it,

Football isn't Judaism, you can't convert and then consider yourself a seperate race bollox to that shit, fanboys are gimps.
