Call it an itch, but I feel they are going to play Ronaldo as close to a striker as can be, and that with Nani creating and Veloso blocking, they will score aplenty.
One'll either look like a genius or a complete fool after the event.
My vote: fool.

Ronaldo should not be played as a striker. With Liedson in there, this is actually for first time in a decade that the NT has had a functional striker at this level.

Ronaldo has been a massive dud for the NT in the past couple of years. Didn't score a single goal in qualifiers. The team was on the brink of elimination when he played and only came back when he was out injured.

Hands down, Nani will surely outclass him in this NT. He is ultimately going to be the key to any success for them. But unlike WC 06, their defense looks shakier, including a bit of their GK, which should undo them.

Well, that and Coach Quieroz is so awful, I wouldn't even want him to replace Zaccheroni at Juve.

Don't do it m8:D, Nahh we do have a small chance imo, but i am not counting on winning it, my gamble was for the germans too or spain and i also will bet that Uruguay will make it to the quaterfinals.

I'm struggle to come up with bets I fancy just now, because I think Spain or Brazil will win, but there isn't any value in backing them.

I might just focus on individual matches.

I'd go for the Dutch too. The trio of Robben, Sneider and RVP will set every opposition on fire while De Jong is more than capable of killing out counter attacks. But a big question mark lies on their center backs and GK.

Still I think they'll be the big surprise package of this tournament and I wouldn't be surprised if they walk away with the trophy for the first time in their history.

I might just focus on individual matches.
The smartest thing to do. Individual matches or special bets are much better than a simple single bet on the winner.

I ended the last world cup in a small minus iirc but that was due to my live betting passion. I even took bets on "next corner" or similar shit and I had bad luck with that.
But the individual matches and especially the special bets kept me alive.

I remember this accumulator:

Best scorer of the team
Shevchenko (Ukraine)
Klose (Germany)
Frei (Switzerland)
Ronaldo (Brazil)
Toni (Italy)

They all had surprisingly great odds, and they were all winning bets :D

The online bookies will offer hundreds of betting options for every match. Among them, you will always find some very valuable offers. Even bookies make mistakes with the odds, so try to find those.

Edit: Except the idiotic BWin. They make mistakes with some odds, you bet on those (even though they give you shitty limit) and when you win it they don't pay you the money, making the bet void due to the mistake they made.

I'll see how it goes.

I'm just tempted to go for an outright winner because I backed Italy before the start of the last tournament and made a nice profit.

His body looks pretty fit to me.

not this fake one..the true legend :)

Should have done it since that horrific milan injury.
aah he forced it...like a big player like he is...and his season at corinthians proved that skills & talent never die...but when you can't run at trainings..hell you can't run for 60 mins in a match, it doesn't worth to bother and try cuz your body can't take it like it used to. Great legend, i'm so happy i caught this one at 4 clubs.

At least there is one Aberdonian going to the World Cup.

For that reason, and due to the fact they play England, I hope the US do well
