Both you and me know that's different, unless Asif complains about it and actually put Rab on his ignore list for it

Cut the crap now and have the courage to ask the girl if she was offended and Im sure it will be water under the bridge in no time.
I hope she was offended. If she was, it was a good retort. If she wasn't, then it would prove my words true.

People here are called gay all the time, jokingly or not. But nobody is ever criticized for it. If we go down this road we have to start warning far more posts, which would not be a good thing.

Why? If women want equal pay to men than we should be able to make just as many cracks at them as men.

And you're not a champion of oppressed people's rights, your previously stated opinions on homosexuality make that clear so don't even try.
I wasn't talking about women only there but rather for anyone being offended by a "joke" not having to suffer a continuous headache while clearly not being amused.

Oh and I never claimed to be perfect but you don't see me making fun of gays and calling them names do you now?

If she's offended by it you or anyone for that matter shouldn't make such jokes and should be in return warned for them instead of simply pretending nothing's happening.

That isn't going to work. That means you'd eventually have to warn folks for saying Italy was a crap team in this World Cup because people couldn't take the criticism.

No it's not. Mexico is one of the most corrupt and vicious countries in the world.

But I bet that the illegals here will agree with you, which makes the joke even more hilarious.
What does that have to do with the players or football for that matter? If you want to politicize everything then you can't complain about people hating the US team (a lot of people were behind and complimented the US on their run).

If you lived in Mexico you wouldn't try to get here? Please.

I wouldn't care if you made jokes. Being ignorant towards a whole group of people is a lot worse than making harmless jokes at their expense.

Jeez, sorry. Don't let facts stand in the way of football discussions.

I meant personely offended, not offended for calling their precious teams names.
JBF, let people fight their own battles, I'n sure Fabi will let the moderators know if she has a problem.
Im afraid she already did that with Burke's case yet now it's Andy taking over the battle station.

I can't remember the last time I saw something as funny as the look on Capello's face when he realised Lampard's 'goal' hadn't been given, after he'd been celebrating for a few seconds.

The replay of the 'goal' looked inconclusive to me. :shifty:
