:agree:

Making South America and Conmebol kings of the World:D
Kind of odd how Argentina and Brazil switched places though. But anyways, it'll be grand. Argentina suck at the back, so they have no option but going forward. Lucio and Juan would have a lot of difficulties against Argentina's tiny forwards.

And finally Robinho will explode too. After a mediocre tournament he'll show the world of what he's capable. It'll set everything right. The Jabulani will be forgotten, no one will talk about the silly Frenchies or the poor Italians, no it'll be festivities all over.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!

That way stupid Blatter / Uefa / Concacaf won't have valid arguments to take Conmebol's .5th spot away

rest of the world?

bout time north american football stepped up. mexicans will never amount to anything sadly in wc imo, despite their talents.

up to uncle same soldiers to dominate, and they will sooner or later.
But the Mexicans just beat France 2-0...

The Americans will dominate the football scene because of their sheer athleticism. You can say what you want about Americans, but they have the big majority of true athletes in this world. They've got basketball players who jump on buildings and nfl players who run through walls.

That will never happen. "Soccer" will never gain more popularity than any of the big 3 sports (or even hockey). The top athletes grow into either one of the top 3, meaning that "soccer" only gets the rest. That will never change, not in our lifetimes anyways.

it's already started to change though, football (not american football) is the biggest youth sport in the country, and that says something. It's going slowly, but gradually the country is learning that there's a reason why the whole world plays the game

Meh :depressed

Ya, the Brazilians were amazing, people who really know how to have fun. My dream now is to make it for the 2014 WC in Brazil.
But their team is not having fun.

Fuck this. Fire Dunga and let Maradona coach both Argentina and Brazil.

It's been a few years since the last time I was in the states, but I do remember all the kids playing soccer. They usually stopped when they got older and only a few continued to play it in High School (due to you having to choose between the big 3 and soccer).

In any case, none of them watched soccer on TV or had ever heard of any of the big clubs.

I agree, they are not that fun to watch. Actually most of the Brazilians i met in South Africa, were very angry at Dunga, and a lot of them don't really care how good his results are, they want sexy football as well as results.

Maybe someday they'll realize that the days where you could dance around your opponents at a WC are long gone.

Just a little more investment is needed right now, which will gradually grow. Most of the basketball players are too tall to be football players anyway and for NFL you need different physical attributes. The kids with height between 1.70-1.80 or even 1.85, who show talent for football, can continue playing it.
Especially those with Latino origin, or Italian, Balkan, Russian origin etc.

But the popularity must grow somehow so Rossi and Subotic won't play for other NTs.
