For the person mentioning Beckham, we live in a scapegoat society and thats why crap like that happened. And it was mainly anti Man united anyways. Diego Simone was blamed as was Maradona before him and Ronaldo now. Our failings as a footballl nation is never examined properly, its always scapegoat hunting from Eriksson to Rooney to Ronaldo. It is never we are not really good enough to win world cup as noone to control the midfield and hence control pace of the game.
How many Italians actually villified Totti for spitting and being banned for 3 matches? Did Roma fans condemn him? Instead Poulsen became public enemy number 1 of some sorts

i dont know how those french ppl r even saying anything abt zidane.They didnt lose becuz of him as it was penalties and could've got either way....its not zizou's fault that they lost, ffs they should thank god he came back from retirement to get them into the world cup and then into the final.

i dont know why domench chose trezi to shot, although his penalty is very good but i would've opted with someone with more confidence.

perhaps if you knew that zidane has always bad mouthed juve since leaving mite change your opinions of him, juve made him the play we all know him to be in terms of quality on the pitch, and since he's left hes always said how real madrid will always be dominant and look down to juve, unlike kovaceivic who despite his minimal impact has always stated his love for juve still and his support for them in europe.
