i dont think that treze wont score, am guessing he will score at least a couple.
i really dont know wat domench is thinking when he chose boumsong, i reckon he isnt EPL material.Newcastle really stuffed up when they bought him.

Mexes had a great season with roma, and he wasnt considered... it will be interesting to see wat will the "old crowd" do for france. Will their experience pay out ?

Unless Togo find some form from somewhere, they will be the whipping boys as they were crap in the ACn. This is another group where matches are not very enticing. France under Domenech are nowhere near exciting and Switzerland are a bore as well, while Dick Advocaat does not deserve to be in another wc and South Korea will struggle unless they can lure Moreno out of retirement

Cisse suffers World Cup blow
By Tom Adams | Wednesday 07th June

France striker Djibril Cisse has suffered a suspected broken leg in Les Bleus' last warm-up game for the World Cup finals.

The Liverpool star was involved in a collision with a defender after 12 minutes of the game against China and was stretchered off after a sickening landing on his right leg.

The injury appeared to be very serious, with Cisse going to hospital as a result and giving coach Raymond Domenech severe cause for concern with France's opening game coming against Switzerland on June 13.

If the bad news regarding the former Auxerre man is confirmed, then the Bleus boss will have until 5pm on June 12 to name a replacement for his squad.

Cisse suffered a career-threatening broken leg whilst playing for The Reds against Blackburn in October 2004 and Domenech is sweating on the news of the latest injury which looks likely to bring an end to his striker's World Cup dream.

"We're really worried," Domenech told French television at half time. "It's a drama. At the moment, we don't know the exact nature of the injury."

This not only sucks for France but it also sucks for Liverpool who will now find it difficult to sell a striker who broke legs twice in two years.

This is so sad for Cisse as his run of bad luck continues. In euro 2004 , he was susspended for a lot of games and didnt get to play and now he goes and breaks his legs. I dont really care for Liverpool right now, my compassion is with the player

If thats true what a year Saha is having, ousting 2 of the very best pure finishers in world football both on club and international level without being anywhere near their level of greatness

france and korea. herny-trezeguet-zizou, all i need to say- park-lee. just awesome!. but i have never thought that henry and david r good as a couple, they do not seem to understnad each other like they should given to the amount of time together in the national team and their individual skills they have.

i have seen swiss play, they have a "colombian" player there so sometimes u can get retransimsions of their games. i dont think they're bad. i just think the other 2 will pass. i know this world cup isnt in asia, but still park and lee r now the leaders of the team, thats something they didnt have back then, and i believe that will help them. ILL GO EVEN FURTHER KOREA RUNNER UP OF THE '06WC!!!!!:p

well who knows, switz already played with france before, in the qualifications already and they draw 1:1 in france ;) ofcourse if we take the fact how expierenced france is, they will win it, but they dont look very good. it doesnt matter what it is on paper. it could be very well switz and korea who go through.

so isnt giuly for france, a player who really had a good season. and what is it, with the leader anyway, team can do well as a unit as well, and that swits are.

johan vonlanthen is thecolombian guy, hes pretty bad, in other owrds it was a joke, but it could be a joke only colombians would understnad. The leader thing is bcuz teams do better when it's just 1 person yelling bout organizing, marking, etc and the leader is also the person who gets the team on his shoulders when they most need to. i agree with u no team needs a leader if no1 feels superior or *(the opposite from superior)*, but great teams almost always have them: france-zizou, '02brazil-rivaldo. '94brazil-dunga. england-beckham. spain-puyol. etc now stop arguing :D

My my, the African keepers really aren't doing themselves any favours are they? Ghana's Richard Kingston gave a very shaky performance against Italy, and now its Togo's keeper that's giving his defence nightmares with his poor judgement and failure to prevent two soft goals from hitting the back of the net.
