In addition to the defensive talent available mentioned by Denco, there must also be some quality full backs in Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and South America that would provide the necessary defensive qualities that was the Juventus trademark till 2006.
I know the modern game is all about attacking fullbacks, Cafu, Alves, Evra, Cole, and so on but we need to do something to bring the goals conceded down to an average 0.75 per game at least.
The only thing I know for certain is that we cannot play Molinaro at left back in the new season. He just doesn't have the quality.
As for Bridge I would harbour serious doubts and I feel that Claudio is too fond of the 'comfort zone' that he knows he will have from reuniting with players he has worked with in the past. Players that haven't delivered.
If necessary we should now table a 'realistic' bid to prise Zapata from Udinese, in order to play Georgio C at left back.
