there has been a lot said here...so I wont re-hash any of the discussion

I dont think it would be a bad idea to try Zlatan in the midfield. His strengths lie in his ball control and dribbling. He could be real useful to set up the forwards with those skills. He needs to really work on his passing skills first IMO, for this to work

When a striker starts to make so called assists instead of putting the ball in the back of then net, its time to put him as an attacking midfield and as some learned ppl have said Zlatan is more comfortable outside the box than in

No matter hgow many times you tell Dp or Mutu to play as an attacking midfielder, you always find them sneaking into the penalty box but Zlatan likes to work his way outside the penalty box, don;t that tell you anything?
thats what I was thinking too

It would be an interesting thing to see an attacking midfield that's not put as a winger. Although I doubt Ibra's stamina to be able to hold the match throughout.

well, i just thought....think about it...ok, lets say cap puts him to AM or somewhere in the midfield....but for sweden NT he plays as a forward....i think a player should play his own position in club and in NT both....but i dont think sweden would use him as a midfielder....

Ofcourse you might say, you dont care about his NT and etc....but think about it yourself if he plays as a forward in world cup and as a midfielder for juve....he cant change his position after every season, or can he?

And btw....i just wonder...now when larsson left(or is he leaving) barcelona...will he play in germany....i just wonder who will be the forwards for sweden in wc 2006.....

The thing is....playing not in the same position for club and NT can affect his(zlatan) form....

He will leave for Sweden of course, Helsingborg. Sweden have some promising forwards in Markus Rosenberg, Johan Elmander (excellent player imo) & Tobias Hysén.

In NT Zlatan is an excellent forward but he has much more help from the midfield than in Juve. He actually has the best goal per match statistics in the swedish nt.
