Was Juve's relegation fair?

  • We were lucky not to be relegated to Serie C or lower

  • It was so fair

  • We deserved to stay in Serie A with points deducted

  • No, it was a conspiracy

  • I don't know

Most people defending Juve's relegation go by the 'The other teams werent punished. So we shouldnt have been either'.Thats logic's twisted. Its like saying that if 4 drunk guys go and kill someone,3 of them get away and the 4th one is punished,it means that the 4th one is innocent too simply because the other 3 werent punished.

The correct argument is that the trail wasnt fair. But the punishment handed out to the 4th guy was fair. The other 3 should have been punished too,but just because they werent doesnt make the 4th guy innocent.
Are punishment wasn't just unfair, it was illegal. They had no legal or sportive basis to relegate us. Also, the fact other club's got off easily only further shows it was a farce, since in Milan's case, they were worse than Moggi.

Its not the main reason y Juve fans complain, it just helps illuminate the point more for ppl who arent as versed on the subject. They created a whole new set of rules and judicial procedures to relegate us, and to add insult to injury, they didn't apply their new methods universally. Massive double standard.

Morra10's post was taken from a facebook group titled ""Calciopoli or Falsopoli; The Truth Behind The Trial That Crippled Juventus". I suggest every1 checks it out. The creator is extremely knowledgeable on the subject, and was invited to speak on TLN the other week on the subject. He will gladly take your questions, and if any of u are doubting what he says, he will give u links to the official verdicts so u can see for yourself.

In my opinion, any Juve fan who accepts our punishment and the myth of us "fixing matches", "bribibg ref's", etc, isn't deserving of supporting the Bianconeri. Were often accussed of being in denial, but the irony is, the only ones in denial are those who fail to understand basic facts about the scandal.

I find it absolutely hilarious when I see ppl stating Moggi is the reason we got relegated. U couldn't be more ignorant if u tried.

Juventus was definitely the scapegoat in this case. Perhaps if no one had cheated in the first place then no one would have been punished.

I have had this discussion too many times to get into it again. What amazes me is how people like you think they know everything that happened, and how you are the final authority on who's a Juventus fan and who's not.So just to bring a smile on your 5 year old face, here goes:

You are the omnipotent and the omnipresent.I kneel before you.You are a true Juventus supproter. The Agnelli family is proud of you,for people like you know the truth.I on the other hand change teams every second day.Today i support Inter, tomorrow ill choose my team after a cointoss between Parma and Roma.Forza every team other than Juventus. And by the way, next time you use your super scientifically developed formula to mutate yourself into a bee and fly around the hearing room undetected, please remember to share the formula with me too so i can change form like you and hear what was actually said during the trial

Calm down, no need to get hostile. How about providing a constructive counter-arguement showing how I am wrong, instead of trying to instigate a problem?

I never claimed to be the ultimate authority on the scandal, but no1 has provided any proof Juve were guilty enough to be stripped of 2 titles, relegated, and than given a points penalty.

Im not being a calciogate elitist by saying you or ppl like u are wrong, im stating fact. Not to mention I believe in legal integrity, which amongst other things, requires that u have proof, are given the right to a defence, and innocent b4 proven guilty, all of which were violated.

U have no right to hold Juve accountable for things they didn't do. If u go to that facebook group, there is a thread which states which page numbers to go to on the Commissione d’Appello Federale (CAF) document (available online) so u can look for yourself, instead of taking some1 elses word. I suggest u take a look.

Better yet, go to J1897, which has an entire sub-forum on the scandal.

These arent 9/11 conspiracy theories, they are conclusions based on court records. As far as I can tell, your's are based on public opinion shaped by a media machine who wrongly reported on this scandal from day 1.

Btw, Im not attacking you personally, so I would appreciate it if u did the same. if I came across that way, Im sorry, that wasn't my intention. Juve fans should be the last ppl attacking each other on this topic. Although I still stick by my point:

Be careful my friend, saying that Juventus fans who believe differently than you don't deserve to support their club is kind of a personal attack. And you did say anyone who thought different was ignorant. Also not very nice. Just letting you know some might consider that an attack. I wasn't offended as I'm not really a Juve fan, but I do find the case interesting.

Could you post the link to the facebook page so we can scope it out?

Being ignorant on calciogate isn't a personal attack. It means they are ignorant on a specific matter, not an ignorant person as a whole. I certainly didn't mean the latter.

Yes, I stand by my point of that those who believe Juve "fixed matches", "bribed refs", etc, arent deserving of our club. I respect difference of opinion, but on a matter as black and white as this, there is no grey area. You're either guilty or not guilty, and were are not guilty. Accepting the fate manipulated by our rivals is very un-Juventino.

Go to facebook, and in the search, copy and paste this:
"Calciopoli or Falsopoli; The Truth Behind The Trial That Crippled Juventus"

Also, the creator of the group is very helpful, and if u email him, he will gladly answer all your questions or provide u with sources for all his arguements (including official legal ones). I was skeptical, so I emailed him, and he gave me links to alot of important info.

Also, here is the site of the shareholders appeal, it contains tons of info, with links to all the documents:

Yes, it was Italian Soccer Fanatics, unfortunately, I didn't catch it. However, he was invited there, and they told him they would have him back if ppl are interested. In other words, email TLN and say you liked that episode, etc. Check the facebook group, the details are there, either in the discussion page or on the wall.
