definitely the worst mercato ever
but given the circumstances we were in a tight situation and not many players wana move to a club that isnt playin in europe
but i think the 22 million spent on tiago and almiron was a huge waste.....we couldve gotten a great midfielder such as diego,van der vaart,sneider,nani,anderson,lucho gonzalez,simao,banega,ribery,mashcerano,elano,yaya toure,appiah
then andrade is a great player but we knew he was injury prone and very bad and getting back into action following an injury...we couldve spent that momey on someone like ivanovic,alex,juan,fazio,....
but iaquinta was a great addition,so was nocerino....grygera is ok,molinaor is getting better game by game,brazzo has done his job
and loaning out seba n marchisio was probably thre best thing the management did but bringing criscito was a mistake as hes not getting any minutes with usand wont with the way hes playing

As I said before none of our other targets wanted to come! it's all well and good to say we could have bought so-and-so for the price we paid for Almiron/Thiago but the truth is that we all watched the 'better' players we were linked to stay at or move to CL teams.
Given the unique circumstances of the last two seasons they are arguably incomparable but if you do compare again, given the circumstances, we have had much worse transfer campaigns.

It would have been fantastic if Ribery would have joined us, if we considered that he didn't care playing at the CL this year since he moved Bayern Munich. But I find it hard for some french players to join italian clubs since there is rivalry between the national teams. But would have been a great buy, one can only dream.
I voted no. I believe that given the circumstances this Mercato was ok. Keep in mind that we're still only 14 games into the season, so it's always risky to rush into judgements.
Molinaro: He has some potential, but I agree he's not the player we need right now.
Andrade: He's a great central defender! It's too bad he got injured because he can deliver when he's fit.
Criscito: In due time he'll be a great central defender. A good option if given time to mature.
Tiago: This guy is good, especially when he gets to play consistently. Too bad for him and for us that Ranieri is the coach.
Almiron: Has played quite poorly until now.
Grygera: Considering his transfer fee was 0, he was a smart buy.
Nocerino: This guy will develop into the next Gattuso. Great buy.
Salihamidizic: Although he is past his best, given the circumstances he was a good buy.
Iaquinta: Our best acquisition. Great forward!

Juventus boss Claudio Ranieri has surprisingly stated that last summer’s transfer campaign was “positive”, and he admits that Momo Sissoko could soon join the club.

Another expensive purchase, Jorge Andrade, is out for most of the season with a long-term injury, while the likes of Hasan Salihamidzic and Zdenek Grygera have also failed to set the place on fire.
"Certainly we have made mistakes but in general our purchases from the summer have been positive," Ranieri told Radio Anch'io.
"Although it is undeniable that some of the players have paid a price for the burden on someone who puts on the Bianconeri shirt.
"And my biggest concern has been Tiago, a player I have followed since he played in Portugal.
"He has all the characteristics to be a great player and I cannot understand why he is unable to make the breakthrough here."
With Tiago looking likely to leave the club this month, possibly to Spurs, one player who could join the Bianconeri is Liverpool midfielder Momo Sissoko.
Ranieri is a huge admirer of the Malian international, and a €13-15m transfer has been mooted.
“Sissoko could arrive," the Tinkerman admitted.
"He is a good player that could fit into the pattern of our team."
