now, i know i am going ON and ON about this, but can anyone find Canale5 to watch over the internet ?

you can also find the Sports or Calcio they're shwoing on each of the channels by selecting the Channel, then the Categorie.

another wild goose chase that may amount to something:

I'm figuring this might enable us to watch channels via streaming on VLC which is a player that seems to open most file types. I didn't know it was possible to stream using VLC, but this new version apparently does:

maybe 1st you can download VLC, then read here to determine how to stream. i haven't read this completely yet, but i will tonight and i'll report on my success (if any)

This program, Streamerone.
it's a very small program, with just a few channels in it.

and then select the channel: Test1
and there you have canale5 - playing in Windows Media Player

it should work pretty good,
But, there is a risk that the channel will be overloaded, so i suggest you to use the channel in streamerone.
