Mirko Vucinic reflected on a perfect afternoon as the Bianconeri’s battle plan to overcome Atalanta paid off with devastating results.
The Montenegrin frontman, who set Juventus on their way to victory with the opening strike in a 3-0 triumph, believes the team’s frantic opening held the key to their resounding success.
Speaking to reporters after the game, the 29-year-old said: “We started strongly and that was the most important thing to do. We scored immediately, the second arrived shortly afterwards and we handled the game well from there on in.
“The whole team played well. Everything came off to perfection, both in defence and attack. And when you break the deadlock straightaway things become much simpler.”
Ending with a thought on Conte’s return to the dugout, Vucinic added: “He transmits his anger and strength. When he’s on the bench, you can feel his presence.”
