damn, his fk in the U-20 world cup was teh shit! he played generally well too. i'd looooooooooooooooooove to seem him here!
We'll see. I still have some reservations. We haven't used youth talent very well in the past -- and that's just youth talent from Italy. Foreign youth talent seems even more sketchy.

But the guy is good and has promise. And it was a sweet FK... even if his compatriots once again choked big time on the global stage yet again.

Roma have reportedly snapped up Portuguese talent Antunes, while Reggina bolster their squad with Dane Mike Tullberg.

The Giallorossi continue their summer transfer campaign with another wide player, as Antunes is a left-winger and Under-20 Portuguese international.

The Paços de Ferreira youngster had been close to Juventus in the past, but pulled out of the deal when he discovered he would be first loaned out to a Serie B club.

Antunes is already in Italy for his medical and to sign a five-year contract, while Roma will shell out around £1m.

Reggina have also made a new signing to increase their Scandinavian contingent at the Stadio Granillo.

Danish defender Tullberg has officially completed his move from Aarhus just 24 hours after fellow countryman Kris Stadsgaard came in from Nordsjællan.

Norwegian midfielder Emil Hallfredsson has already made his Serie A debut in Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Atalanta.

In Serie B, Bologna have signed former Udinese striker Dino Fava, who is under a co-ownership deal with Treviso.

Roma Land Antunes

Roma have landed former Juventus target Antunes from Pacos de Ferreira for a fee of around 1.5 million euros...

Roma have signed highly-rated Portuguese U-21 regular Antunes from Pacos de Ferreira.

The left-sided midfielder has arrived in the Eternal City for a medical and is expected to pen a five-year deal at the Stadio Olimpico imminently.

Juventus were on the verge of signing the player recently, only for Antunes to withdrawn from the deal when it transpired that he'd be loaned out for a year.

The 20 year old, who started 23 games for Os Pacenses in the last campaign, has in the past been linked not just with Juve but also Sporting, Benfica, Aston Villa and Deportivo.

He has played two games so far this season, the home draw with Leixoes set to be his final match for Pacos.

Antunes, full name Vitorino Gabriel Antunes, has one full Portuguese cap so far.
